LOOK WHAT I FINALLY DID!

Wow, has it really been almost a month since I last posted? I guess I have been so busy searching other blogs and Pinterest that I have kind of neglected mine. Not good. I promise to get back in the swing of things.

I can say that I have been very productive. I was getting a little discouraged because I felt like I was seeing all of these wonderful ideas in the blog-land, but I wasn't doing any of them. I mean how many times can you pin or save documents to your computer without making, copying, or laminating something??? I have never been very crafty surprisingly. I am more of the buy.it. from. the. store. kind of teacher. But thanks to God and his many blessings, I have discovered some amazing people out there with some wonderful ideas. I became SUPER motivated. Since I have been gone so long I will show you some of the things I have made. I am going to try my BEST to give credit to everything I have done because they are not my ideas. If it was your idea and I was unable to link back to you, PLEASE let me know.

Keep in mind, I am just starting out with this DIY stuff. I have a lot of practicing to do!

Aren't these so cute? It took me one hour to do this project. I got this from Mrs. H at once upon a first grade adventure.
Saw this on Pinterest and had to do it! I am going to stick some clothespins on it and hang it on my Cubbies.  Thanks Katie! Take a look: Classroom Jobs
Containers are from the dollar store! They were already made with the ribbon and everything! I just stuck on these cute labels.
This is one of the first things I pinned on Pinterest. I LOVE it. I think that all kids need to know this. I had to make my own for my classroom. :) I can't decide if I am going to hang it in my classroom or on the door when kids enter. Thank you Caroline from Tupelo Honey!
What are power pellets? Skittles! Another pin from Pinterest! I got the candy dish from Dollar Tree and those are alphabet Stickers from the Dollar Spot at Target. I LOVE TARGET.
I am sure you all know about Dr. Jean and her famous "kiss your brain" right? I am going to fill this with Hershey kisses. What a sweet treat for the kids!
Book Luggage for the kids! No more ziplock bags for the daily five! I am super excited about this. I got the idea from Mrs. McHaffie at Beg Borrow Steal. The numbered tags are a freebie from a cupcake for the teacher.
Picture Frame Bathroom Passes. Why didn't I think of this??!!! I used scrapbook paper and acrylic paint. It was pretty easy for me, so I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT. :)
Check out where I got it from here.

FYI: Don't mind my feet and legs in the pictures. I need to work on editing my background a little more before I take the picture. Ha ha!

I guess that's it for now! I should probably get some sleep. What that really means is: I am going to lay in my bed and play on the ipad and watch Sex and the City and probably fall asleep.
Yup, typical night routine.
:)
